I probably have said this a dozen times but I still stand by it. Growing up my parents always made time for a delicious and wonderful meal for my brother and me. I am truly blessed that they did that and that’s what inspired me to be such a big foodie and cooking for those that I love. I remember the days my dad would make a nice meal for my mom.
One of those meals was Chicken Cordon Bleu. I remember having this as a kid and loved it. I love that he added his Italian twist with it using prosciutto. I will admit I am not much of a ham person but the prosciutto adds the perfect salt flavor and balance with the swiss cheese.
